Ensure safe working conditions for all

Respecting legislation and Good Practice is of utmost importance to the VibraTec Group in the industries and countries in which its personnel works.  VibraTec Group employees respect all security and operating procedures to the letter, at VibraTec and on-site with our clients. They follow specific training programs to be able to work safely and efficiently in high-security environments (offshore platforms, petro-chemical installations, clean rooms, electric apparatus etc.).  The VibraTec Group defines specific improvement programs each year with personnel representatives (CSS – Health, Safety and Work Conditions Committee). The efficiency of the committee’s actions is verified on a regular basis. A large part of the program is dedicated to preventive and remedial actions based on past experiences / incidents.

Working conditions

Guarantee the quality of the products and services we deliver

The VibraTec Group is a reference in the field of vibro-acoustics. VibraTec’s reputation is built on its capacity to integrate specific industrial constraints from the beginning of each project. It knows the importance of giving advice that clients can use directly.  VibraTec is ISO 9001 certified and complies with EN 9100 and ISO 45001 certification, as well as the certifications needed to work on offshore platforms and perform studies for the French National Security.

Product-service quality

Build sustainable development

The VibraTec Group always guides its clients toward solutions that protect the environment as much as possible. It encourages the use of public transportation, cycling and car pooling among its employees and tries to limit energy-intensive travel.

The VibraTec Group pursues an ambitious environmental policy. Indeed, the climate change situation demands urgent treatment. This commitment affects all employees and all activity sectors regarding the services offered to clients, which are most often aimed at improving service life, energy performance, and noise and vibration pollution.

The various elements of this policy are monitored by the General Manager, assisted by the head of the laboratory, who manages and monitors the proper implementation of waste recycling.

The Group’s Social and Economic Committee and Health and Safety Committee are strongly committed to these initiatives and monitor the implementation of agreed actions.

Orienting VibraTec’s projects toward sustainable solutions

VibraTec Group is committed to guiding its clients to solutions that best address environmental protection issues. In its own activities, VibraTec promotes the most sustainable technical solutions. For example, VibraTec has set up a system for the selective sorting of unavoidable waste and seeks the most energy-efficient solutions for its own travel that are compatible with clients’ deadline requirements.

Reducing the carbon footprint of client interactions & commuting

VibraTec Group favors video and telephone communication. It provides tools that are compatible with the requirements of its clients’ IT departments.

VibraTec Group requires the preferential use of public transportation. The use of private cars is reserved for the last few kilometers of the trip. In some cases, however, the transport of measurement equipment requires the use of a car or van.

The VibraTec Group encourages its employees to use bicycles and public transportation to get to work. VibraTec Group actively participates in the annual mobility challenge organized by Greater Lyon.

Sorting waste as much as the recycling channels in the region allow

Over the years, VibraTec has added specific storage areas on its own premises. The objective is to reduce the content of the waste containers in the Lyon area to a strict minimum.

A quantitative follow-up is not possible because the volumes rejected depend strongly on the tests requested by clients. Qualitative monitoring is carried out regularly by the management, the Economic and Social Committee and the laboratory managers.

Limiting consumption to heat and cool the premises

In agreement with its owner, VibraTec has a low-consumption temperature control system. Its use is adjustable in each office and their closing is recommended in case of absence.

Sustainable development

Comply with anticorruption laws

The VibraTec Group applies the requirements of the OECD Convention and pays specific attention to this matter.

Gender equality index: 94% for 2020

All companies with at least 50 employees must calculate and publish their Gender Equality Index every year on March 1st.

The Index, out of 100 points, is calculated from 4 or 5 indicators depending on the size of the company:

  • The gender pay gap,
  • The gender pay gap for individual raises,
  • The distribution gap for promotions (only in companies with more than 250 employees),
  • The percent of female employees who receive a raise upon return from maternity leave,
  • Parity among the 10 highest paid employees.

The obligation concerns companies with at least 50 employees since March 1, 2020.

If the Index is below 75 points, the company must implement corrective measures to reach at least 75 points within 3 years.

For VibraTec Group, the 2020 Index is 94, as detailed below.
